In order to understand how algorithms work in different scenarios, it is important to test them both on real and on synthetic data. This technical report provides the description of the simulation-based evaluation of the Topic-Specfic Open Rating System. It includes a complete description of the experiment setup, a motivation and also a detailed analysis of the results.
